Shannon Bennett at Yering Station - Event Video Production

Shannon Bennett and Yering Station head chef Tom Johnston combined local produce with Yering Station wines for a charity event for the Kid's Cancer Foundation. Unfortunately I couldn't be at the shoot on this day as I was filming elsewhere (VinItalia 2015, watch this space) so I had a friend and local filmmaker Mick Hurren shoot for me and a bloody great job he did. He used the Sony FS7 one of many cameras he has to choose from. When I was looking through the rushes the footage at a higher frame rate was hard to ignore. It made me think that this camera was a great choice for event footage. At events you have to be a small and discrete unit, be able to work with available light and maximise things that unfold in front of you at anytime. Short sharp interviews came together and it was a quick turn around. Check out Mick's work at filmicproductions.com.au
